Had a fantastic stay at Ashleigh House! The room was beautifully decorated with quality furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. The included breakfast was delicious, and we loved the thoughtful details like the beverage tray with tea, coffee, and soft drinks. Jan and Steve were truly welcoming hosts.
No night curtains made it a bit bright for sleeping.

Stayed in the Standard Double Room, super cozy and clean! Dawn's warm welcome and the amazing breakfast were definitely highlights. Just a heads up, the walk back from town is a bit steep, but worth it! Will be back for sure!

i was really expecting a lovely breakfast, but we just got cereal and a granola bar! not exactly the full english advertised. also, the room was dusty and basic, not what you'd expect. a complimentary upgrade would have been nice for such inconvenience. i almost left a good review, just couldn't. pathetic offerings.

Family friendly retreat
Dawn was incredibly welcoming, made sure we felt comfortable the moment we walked in. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious, with a lovely smell that made it feel like home. There was a neat little folder of info about dog-friendly places to eat and visit in town which was super handy for us as we traveled with our dog.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but worth every penny.
